By downloading, installing, or using Family Hub ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Description of Service
Family Hub is a mobile application that provides:
- Family calendar and event coordination
- Task management and sharing
- Private family messaging
- Location sharing between family members
- Family photo albums
- Family games and activities
- Multi-hub organization
Eligibility
To use Family Hub, you must:
- Be at least 13 years of age
- Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
- Not be prohibited from using the App under applicable laws
Children under 13 may be added as family members by a parent or legal guardian who accepts responsibility for their use.
Account Registration
Your Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
- Abuse or harass other users
- Attempt to compromise app security
Acceptable Use
You MAY:
- Use the App for personal, family coordination purposes
- Share content with your family members
- Use location sharing features with consent
- Play games and engage in family activities
You MAY NOT:
- Use the App for commercial purposes without permission
- Upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the App
- Create multiple accounts for deceptive purposes
- Share access credentials with non-family members
- Use automated systems to access the App
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
User Content
Ownership
You retain ownership of content you create and upload to the App (photos, messages, etc.).
License Grant
By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to:
- Store and process your content on our servers
- Display your content to your authorized family members
- Create backups for data protection purposes
Content Responsibility
You are solely responsible for content you upload. You represent that you have the right to share such content and that it does not violate any third-party rights.
Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Subscriptions and Payments
Free Features
Basic family coordination features are available free of charge.
Premium Features
Some features may require a paid subscription. If you subscribe:
- Subscription fees are billed through the App Store or Google Play
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
- You may cancel at any time through your device's subscription settings
- Refunds are subject to App Store / Google Play policies
Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, features, code, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property without permission.
Disclaimers
"As Is" Service
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the past 12 months
- We are not liable for any loss of data, even if we were advised of the possibility
Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting updated Terms in the App and updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
